Terms
What this is, and what it is not.
Issued 21 August 2026 · Varuni Systems
The short version. Plan to Bill measures a drawing and prices it. It is an estimate, not a design, and not an approval. An engineer signs a structure; an authority sanctions a building; a contractor quotes a job. This does none of those three, and you should not hand its output to anybody as though it did.
What the numbers are
Every figure is measured off the drawing you gave it, at the rates you set, under assumptions the panel states beside the answer. Where a figure rests on something the tool worked out rather than something you told it, it says so, and where it needs checking it says that too.
Two things follow. The quantities are only as right as the drawing — walls tagged wrongly are measured wrongly, and the tool cannot know. And the prices are only as right as the rate card. Ours are a starting point for one market; outside India they are those rates carried across by a published cost index and a day's exchange rate, and the page says as much wherever they are shown. Check them before you quote.
What it is not
- Not a structural design. Sizes and spans are rules of thumb for a first pass. A frame is engineered by an engineer.
- Not a compliance certificate. The by-law figures are an indicative reading of a published schedule, simplified, and they date. The sanctioning authority's current schedule is the one that counts.
- Not a fire, electrical or plumbing design. Detector counts, circuits, loads and pipe sizes are sized to be reasonable, not to be submitted.
- Not a quotation. A contractor's price includes things no drawing can show.
Your work is yours
Your drawings, your projects, your rate card and everything produced from them belong to you. We claim no licence over them beyond what running the service needs — storing a project you asked us to keep, and showing it back to you and to anybody you share it with.
The software, the page and the engine behind it are ours, and are licensed to you for use rather than sold.
Accounts
- One account is one person. Do not share a sign-in; invite the other person instead.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from a signed-in session is treated as done by you.
- Tell us if you think somebody else is in your account, and reset the password — a reset ends every session.
- You must be able to enter a contract where you live.
Paying
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay and run until you cancel. Cancel whenever you like: the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We do not refund part of a month, and we will not charge you again after you cancel.
The free plan is not a trial. It does not expire and it does not turn into a bill. If we ever change what it includes, existing accounts keep what they had for at least ninety days.
Stopping
You can delete your account at any time and everything goes with it. We will only close an account for non-payment, or for use that breaks the law or attacks the service — and except where the law makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you your projects.
What we are responsible for
We will run the service with reasonable care and keep what you store with us. We cannot promise it will never be down, and we cannot promise a figure is right for your job — that is what checking is for.
We are not liable for a decision made on an estimate that was not checked, for money lost on a quote, or for work built to a number this produced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before whatever went wrong.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and anybody with an account is told by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. If you do not like the change, cancel — that is what the notice is for.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away a right you have under consumer law where you live.
